Today we made some pretty tough legal decisions that will take us a couple of weeks to iron out. But, it's all about the forward progress. After I'm finished writing this, we're going to meet with a nice lady that was an instrument in getting the race started. Mr. Ken offered me to tag along for drinks, who could refuse such an offer?? Not I, LOL.

Tomorrow, I will be speaking at the St. Martinville Rotary Club meeting and will introduce for the first time ever, the Petite Tour du Teche, a race specifically designed for 5-17 year-olds which will only be the beginning to the paddling culture in this area.

It will be exciting to see how the club receives it. They've been really supportive of the race and it seems like every time we mention something like a race for children, they get really excited about it, which is really great.

This all has so much potential and so much support -- it makes my job so fun and easy.
