Last night we stayed here until 8 p.m. and connected and disconnected wires until we got everything up and running. It feels great to be able to connect to the internet and know exactly where the problem is should one arise.
Yesterday, we looked over a sample trophy for all the first, second and third place winners in class for the Voyageur division and races 2-6. I am excited! They will look great!
Oh, and, another chapter in the Tour du Teche books was opened yesterday, or day before -- I can't remember, but we will be sponsoring a doggie paddle, where you can paddle a short stretch of Bayou Teche in St. Martin Parish with either your dog, or one from the shelter. All of the proceeds from the event will benefit the SMP animal shelter! (Woo-f!) More details as they become available.
Today, I'll be catching up on paper work and all, so you might not hear from me until Monday.
